The Department of Asian Languages and Civilizations and the Shang Shung Institute for Tibetan Studies are happy to announce a two-day workshop on Yantra Yoga, the Tibetan Yoga of Movement, and Traditional Tibetan Medicine, led by by Yantra Yoga teacher Fabio Andrico and Menpa (doctor) Phuntsog Wangmo.
This workshop will start on Friday evening with a general introduction to the synergy of Yantra Yoga and Traditional Tibetan medicine. In the next sessions, on Saturday, we will see in practice how to experience a different understanding of the function of our breathing and how to integrate it with the sequences of the Yantra Yoga movements and breathing exercises.

All events are free for Five College students. The Friday introductory talk is free and open to the public. The Saturday workshop is free for Five College students, and for the general public, donations of $ 20 per session, $ 35 for the whole day, are recommended. All donations will benefit the Shang Shung Institute for Tibetan Studies.
