The Eight Movements of Yantra Yoga
Learn to purify, coordinate, and strengthen all aspects of your energy with Yantra Yoga, one of the oldest systems of yoga in the world. The eight fundamental aspects of breath in Yantra Yoga (inhaling slowly, holding open, directing the hold, fast exhalation, fast inhalation, closing the hold, holding with contraction, and exhaling slowly) are a unique set of exercises that apply movement and breath in a precise, coordinated, and conscious way.
"The basic goal is to be able to continue in a state of relaxation—a natural state without tensions, but in the full presence of our potentiality." Fabio Andrico, Senior Yantra Yoga Instructor.
The “Vajra Dance of the Dimension of Space (12 As)” is a symbolic dance of total integration beyond beginning or end; a dance of the recognition of our pure nature and real potentiality. Its essential nature is reflected in that there is no need for a mandala or other external references.
Practicing the Dance of the Vajra one can discover this real nature by being in the state of contemplation; and one can learn to maintain and stabilize this knowledge not only in sitting meditation but also being in movement. In this way it can become part of our daily life.
“Then there is the Dance with the symbol (note: Longsal Symbol of the Vajra Dance) called Kalong Dorje Kar, and lastly one for which we don't even need a drawing (note: The Vajra Dance of Space Twelve As), where there's only one point representing the centre of a mandala or of the dimension, and you move in relation to that. It's very easy.” Dzogchen Master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
