The Cycle of Day and Night or The Application of the Path of the Primordial Yoga called 'The Cycle of Day and Night' is an extraordinary upadesha on how to achieve the capacity of total contemplation in one's life. Chögyal Namkhai Norbu spontaneously wrote it in 1983 while in Conway, Massachusetts, and later he discovered that it was based on a teaching found in the Vai ro rgyud 'bum called The Upadesha of Vajrasattva (rDo rje sems dpa'i man ngag), which had also been received in a dream by the Author.
This practice-oriented retreat will draw from practices found in various sources. These include: "The Precious Vase," "Dream Yoga and the Practice of Natural light," as well as the "The Cycle of Day and Night" as we strive to develop confidence and continuity in the natural state throughout all moments of the day and night.
