This is the anniversary of the birth of Adzom Drukpa. Choegyal Namkhai Norbu is recognized as the reincarnation of Adzom Drugpa, one of the great Dzogchen Masters of the early part of the twentieth Century. Adzom Drukpa was a disciple both of Jamyang Khyentsei Wangpo (1820-92) the first Khyentse Rinpoche, and Patrul Rinpoche (1808-81). Adzom Drukpa was a terton, a discoverer of hidden treasure texts, receiving visions directly from Jigme Lingpa (1730-98).
On this day there will be a special video transmission from Choegyal Namkhai Norbu at Tsegyalgar East. Choegyal Namkhai Norbu will give the transmission of Guruyoga with the specific practice linked to the anniversary of Adzom Drukpa.
The principle of the Dzogchen teaching is Guruyoga. With direct introduction it is possible to have the transmission of the knowledge of Guruyoga. Guru Yoga is the most important practice in the Dzogchen teaching. By coordinating the times the practice and transmission has no distance. This is a precious opportunity to have the transmission of the Dzogchen teachings.
