The course is about how our relative condition is connected to our absolute nature. We will elaborate the topic exploring quotations from various sources including sms base book. It is not enough to just establish this connection in theory so using various methods Rinpoche taught we try to get some experiential idea of the seamless quality of our chaotic changing temperment and its Buddha nature.
Steve Landsberg began studying Tibetan Buddhism in 1967 while he was living in India. He spent two years studying Sanskrit and Tibetan and many years doing preliminary practices. In 1982, he attended his first retreat with Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche and began practicing under his guidance. Steve has pursued the study and practice of Santi Maha Sangha since the mid-1990's and completed the Teachers Training in 2010.
This teaching is part of the Dzogchen Teachings introduced by the world renowned Dzogchen master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu. “The Dzogchen Teaching is not a philosophy, or a religious doctrine, or a cultural tradition. Understanding the message of the Teachings means discovering one’s own true condition, stripped of all the self-deceptions and falsifications that the mind creates.”
